ROJELIO

OUR brother passed away on August 30,  2021.  Rojelio was 54 years old.  He had tge sane heart condition Dad had.

Roy's death was devastating.  WE struggled with blogging.  WE had been been producibg 8 blog posts per day when Roger was alive.

After August 30,  2021 WE only put out 1 ir 2 blogs a week if WE were lucky.

Rojelio was the primary caregiver fir Mom, Dad, and Aunt Alice.

Aunt Alice suffered from Alzheimer's. She lived next door. WE took her in in 2007.

By 2014 it gad gotten too much for Roy and I resigned from my customer service representative gig at the local newspaper to help out. That was about January 10, 2014.

Dad passed away on a cokd February 12, 2014. He was a diabetic and had a heart condition.

WE soldiered on. WE had each other for support as well as that of OUR 3 married siblings.

Aunt Alice passed awat on November 20, 2017. It was Thanksgiving Week. Her death was extremely hard for US especially for Roy.  He and Aunt Licha were very close.

Mom suffers from mental illness. My brother and I focused on Mom.

The Coronavirus Pandemic made ut a challenge. WE got vaccinated on June 13, 2021. A county health department representative and 2 Texas National Guardsmen came to OUR house to vaccinate US.

Roy cooked for US. He was excellent at tgat craft. He was very mechanically inclined. He was OUR protector. Losing him was like a footballall team losing its Most Valuable Player.

Rojelio was a Marine. He was buried with military honors at the Veterans Cemetery here in Mission, Texas.

It has been very difficult for US.

He loved the holidays.

This makes it even tougher.
